Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening will return towards the end of 2026 for a seven-part third series
ITV has ordered a third series of Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening.
The format, which launched on the channel in 2024, sees celebrities teaming up with their daughters, sons, mums and dads to answer quiz questions. The tagline being: "It doesn't matter what you know, it's what your mother and father think you know".
In each episode three stars compete to win money for their chosen charity, with Romesh's mum Shanthi helping to oversee proceedings.
Amongst the comedians who have taken part in the show so far are Tom Allen, Jo Brand, Joel Dommett, Jonathan Ross and Josh Widdicombe.
The new third series, which is made by the host's production company Ranga Bee, will comprise of six hour-long episodes plus a Christmas special.
Romesh Ranganathan says: "I love this show so much and am delighted people are enjoying it enough that we're doing it again. I can confirm that mum will be joining once again following an email from ITV that said something like, 'You need to recognise she's the main draw.'"
Commissioner Joe Mace comments: "Between Romesh, Shanthi and the incredible guests, this series is always jam-packed with laughs. I'm so pleased to be doing more and I can't wait to see what funny revelations come to light this time around."
The new episodes are expected to air on ITV1 and ITVX towards the end of the year.
