TLC comedy panel show lands second series before first episode airs this weekend
Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland is doubling down on its upcoming comedy panel show Unacceptable, ordering a second run before the first series has aired.
The six-part format, which launches on free-to-air channel TLC this Sunday (5 July), sees teams battle to win over a live studio audience with their outrageous opinions. Ed Gamble hosts with fellow comedians Richard Ayoade and Joanne McNally as team captains.
Each episode includes a live ‘swingometer’ to track the audience’s changing opinion, challenges to put the comedians’ arguments to the test, and a ‘stitch up round’ where comedians must defend unseen opinions written by the opposing team.
The format hails from Ranga Bee Productions and will feature guests including Maisie Adam, Guz Khan, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Tom Davis and the series’ executive producer Romesh Ranganathan in its first urn.
WBD has handed the show an extended eight-part order for series two, which will include a Christmas special, to air on TLC in November.
Unacceptable will also be available to stream on Discovery+ after its broadcast
