Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents' Evening is also returning to the broadcaster for an extended run.

The first series was ordered at three episodes and saw the comedian and his mum test celebrities’ general knowledge, with the celebs’ fates ultimately decided by their own parents. Having also become a ratings hit with 6.7m viewers over its first run, the show is returning for a six-part series. It will see three celebrity pairings compete each week to win money for their chosen

charity.

Ranganathan said: “When I started comedy, my dream was always to keep my mum in regular employment. ITV have helped make this dream come true.

The executive producers for Ranga Bee Productions are Benjamin Green, Romesh Ranganathan and Shereen Docherty. Both Bullseye and Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents’ Evening are distributed internationally by ITV Studios and have been commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, who serves as director of entertainment and daytime commissioning at ITV and Joe Mace, entertainment commissioning editor.
